I was able to connect my Chapter 1 reading to my own classroom setting. Fortunately, I have the experience of using differentiated instruction in my classroom planning for all content areas. I had participated in a UDDI Universal Design for Differentiated Instruction a couple of years back. We had to implement this lesson planning design and instruction the following school year and have so since.
It is such a support for my students' needs. I have a wide range of learning needs and styles in my classroom. Using my assessment data, it helps with my guided reading groups and math skills.
Lorna,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you were able to connect with the chapter. Indeed, differentiated instruction is essential to meet the needs of our students. Kudos to you!
